Trail del Malandrino. The race was born way back in 1222, the existence of a road is documented which from Orsigna reaches Monteacuto delle Alpi (BO) a communication route between Pistoia and Bologna "highway of the Middle Ages ”, where people, animals and goods transited. A constantly monitored route, to cross it you had to pay a toll. in fact, the customs were often deceived by smugglers, who faced the paths at night amidst a thousand dangers. Thus was born this race, to revive the adventures of these smugglers. Through a path that winds through the paths of our beautiful Apennines. Today, as then, the departure will be at night and then arrive at Abetone by the afternoon.
